Sorry for the delay in getting our latest blog post up, it’s been a hectic week which I suppose can revert back to one of the previous posts bout time management and ‘excuses’. Keep an eye out for our backdated posts in order to fill the gaps of Hale Fitness’ Advent Calendar.
In the mean time, what do you snack on throughout the day? Do you snack at all?
Firstly, it’s good to snack! Frequently topping up your levels of ‘fuel’ will consistently keep you full and prevent you from craving other foods, but it has to be the right snacks. Here is a recipe for some omelette muffins that the guys here at Hale Fitness absolutely love. Give them a try!
Serves: makes 6
Time: 20 mins
3 rashers bacon cooked
2 sausages cooked chopped
1 pepper chopped
12 baby tomatoes chopped
Paper muffin cases
1) Pre‐heat oven to 200 degrees C. Generously grease a muffin tray with butter or coconut
oil and then line with paper muffin cases.
2) In a bowl, whisk the eggs. Add the meat, vegetables, seasoning and any other ingredients
you want to add.
3) Spoon into the muffin cases. Bake for 18‐20mins.
4) Serve straight away or cool and store in the fridge as an easy snack.
NB: You can exchange the meat for fish and change the vegetables.
